Which Areas in Barcelona are Great for Events?

Around 9.5 million people visit Barcelona each year. A staggering fact. That many people can’t be fools. And spoiler alert, they’re not.

It’s by the sea, the food is fantastic, and the architecture more so. They’ve got culture, music, shopping. Barcelona is world-famous for what it can offer tourists. But we’re here to state a case for this as a brilliant city for hosting international corporate events!

This article will give you an idea of which area of the city is best for your event so that you can book your event in Barcelona with more confidence!

Gràcia

Gràcia is a great area to host an event thanks to its proximity to its famous international cuisine scene. From Japanese speciality places for sushi and ramen to authentic Italian joints, to cute American pie shops.

It’s one of the coolest areas you could hope to be in, never mind host an international event. Despite how hip and bohemian it is, it’s still very accessible and friendly to visitors.

You’ll love the narrow pedestrian streets that link up the charming plazas that can only exist in Barcelona.

There are loads of tapas bars, cafes, and independent stores for bespoke and handmade gifts. And at the end of a day of eventing, the area is perfect for nightlife, from lowkey traditional music spots to loud and sophisticated cocktail bars.
